hohoho fourth post of the month! arent you all so proud of me :D so boyst, here's an update on the life and times of clemony lemony harmony!
i never knew one could be so busy... especially in the first term of school! this week will be the commencement of week 8 of the term, which signals 3 weeks left till the end of TERM ONE!!! i'll be glad when its over.
okay maybe not. term 2 will be even more hectic.
so bb activity has increased from the usual saturday parades to weekly friday prayer meetings, and now a training for us to become mentors! like how awesome, more bb stuff :D totally a dream come true, except that my good friends like joshua tay pon these kind of optional things!!! tsk tsk tsk! well all that coupled with the TA camp planning that we havent even finalised till now, esp for my CE comm cos the theme hasnt been settled! oh that reminds me i better email my committee soon... anyway i'm sidetracking.
the extremely taxing one is drrrama! we started off with 3 rehearsals a week, including saturday, but now its been upped to a blissful FIVE rehearsals a week! gah! thank goodness we live in singapore where we're free to do drama, unlike countries like siberia where drama gets you sent to concentration camps! i pity the poor chillun there ): maybe thats why dave sends students there when they misbehave :P but wow... 5 days a week stuck with tucky, that really can be considered concentration camp liao... lol. plus we have to get everything like props, costumes and sets done before the first of our 3 internal previews... what a rush to get everything done. at least our sets are gonna be done by a professional set designer! woot! at least one pro part of our play XD hopefully that wont be the only 1 of the 4 :P hopefully drama syf on 2nd april wont be a flop for us... and not fair i'm skipping gep camp on 1st and 2nd april cos of that!!! grrrr! and no, this is no april fool's joke. i so wanted to be involved in the gep mind games ): i hope it'll be put as 3rd april though.
and not to mention SL, which will be coming along in term 2! once a week it shall be, with all 8 of us willing to give a little bit more! but wah, how to coordinate our schedules :S then have to plan for the activities... at least my assigned task is pretty much fixed already, teaching hyperactive children how to sing a cheem chinese song... i'm sure thats something so look forward too... haha, i'll force them to sing a simple song too. but i think the cause we're doing it for really is very cool, letting the chillun put up a performance item when they go visit old folks in a home! so cool right! :D i'm quite excited about it, other than the first few weeks when i'll be still having drama going on at FULL FORCE! euuuu!
so 3 different activities... bb takes up 3 days a week, drama dakes up 5 days a week, sl takes 1 day a week. wow... even a dumb idiot (with the exception of our math teachers) can clearly see that it doesnt add up to the 7 days in a week... plus considering that sunday must be preserved as my no activites day, i wonder how those 9 necessary days can be crammed into 6... wont term 2 just be so fun!
in view of this, i'll make it very very clear right here right now. i wont be joining acsis in my IB years! bwahahaha! too much to do liao, esp since next year will be the acsis syf year. i dont want 2 syfs in a row please!
haiz, i'm amazed i'm actually finding time to squeeze in homework and studying for exams the night before. if only i had more time to pursue my own interests like playing more piano and reading WICKED!!! ok i'm already doing those things... but very minimally. haiz, it seems we just cant get enough of time...
how i wish i could just have a single week of a breather, to step back from the hectic schedule of life, and just enjoy the simple things in life, such as music, books, and companionship of friends. but it seems even our term holidays dont allow for that now.
ah well... that's what we call singapore lifestyle.
so do excuse me if i'm cranky and hot tempered in the next few weeks, cos i'm just trying to stay afloat with the onslaught of work and activities. besides, if you consider yourself my friend you should know i rarely get so agitated over simple things :P
you all must be so honoured to be getting 4 posts to read this month despite my busy schedule AH! c'mon, dont i deserve some credit for that? :P totally uncharacteristic of me! hehehe XD
